Rare Bogota edition of this important book.  Antonio José de Irisarri (1786–1868) was a Guatemalan-born writer, diplomat, and military officer who played a key role in the Spanish American independence movements.  Provenance:  From the collection of Professor Malcolm Deas, (1941-2023), an Emeritus Fellow of St Antony’s College, Oxford, 

Condition: worn extremities, bruised corners,  soiled title,  offsetting throughout, occasional spotting. Good.
